English for Tourism in Practice

Hi, everybody !

Welcome to my blog…..

My name is  Imanuella Ninda Natasia and I’m a student of Tidar University. My focus study is English and this is the third-year of my education journey in college.

I could say this is the hardest  year of being a student because I have to do a lot of practices, one of them  is English for Tourism in Practice. This program is held to train students to interact with tourists, especially foreigners and learn about tourism and hospitality.

That’s why…. On June 11 my friends and I were deployed to practice in the Candirejo Tourism Village, Borobudur, Magelang Regency, Central Java for one month.

Let me tell you a little about the tourist village of Candirejo….

Candirejo Village is a Tourism Village managed by the village cooperative. By collaborating with the village government and also the local community, the Candirejo Village Cooperative built an eco tourism that presents local wisdom by providing experience following local community activities and enjoying the beautiful nature.

Lots of programs are offered, starting from Dokar Village Tour, Cyclling, Village Experience, Cooking Lessons, Traditional Dance, Serenade at Menoreh Hill, Rafting, or just walking around the village. This village also provides homestay for the guests. So cool right ?…. :v

After this I’ll share about my wonderful experience in this village..
